hey y’all 🤠
i’ve been at Nike the past 8 years, where social and digital storytelling have been my bread and butter, and i’ve honed my expertise in how all aspects of creative come together to tell a cohesive story. from copywriting to producing, strategy to execution, photography to IG stories, i’ve had the chance to bring incredible stories to life about the power of sport, culture, and community, like Girls of the Game and MariSole.
i do a bit of writing. i’ve had words published in Flagrant Magazine, and write a newsletter on substack celebrating the mistakes we make in life called Congrats, You Played Yourself. i can also be found writing instagram captions that are too long but, in my humble opinion, fun (some of my favorites are on the WNBA, Pigalle, my mom, my health, and my obsession with the USWNT). i have a particular penchant for women in sport and would die for any of them.
i was that kid who brought a camera to middle school dances and roller skating parties because who would want to miss out on photos of themselves at such a young and fun and arguably difficult to look at phase? not me. now, capturing memories and taking photos has manifested as one of my favorite hobbies, with my focus primarily on 35mm film.
otherwise? i have one bad knee, Harold, who gets all the attention and surgeries, and one good knee, Kumar, who does most of the work. i absolutely love animals and am lucky enough to have a super mutt / pitbull mix, slater, who keeps me on my toes both literally and figuratively.
a good mentor of mine once said, “keep it light,” and i took that personally (enter MJ meme). it’s now become a motto of mine and a fantastic reminder in everything i do.
